VIRA helps local businesses capture customer contact information, private feedback, and marketing consent. This page describes what we collect and how it is used.
Business owners provide account details (name, login email, password), business details, and settings. Customers of those businesses may provide their first name, email, optional phone number, optional private feedback, and an optional marketing consent choice through a business’s capture page.
Customer information belongs to the business that collected it and is used to show that business its own contacts, feedback, and consent records. VIRA does not sell customer data and does not share one business’s customers with another.
Marketing consent is optional and unchecked by default. Every consent change is recorded with its wording, version, source, and time. Unsubscribe links work without an account and take effect immediately.
Passwords are stored only as salted hashes. Verification, reset, session, and unsubscribe tokens are stored only as one-way hashes.
Business owners can update their information in Settings. Customers can unsubscribe at any time and can contact the business directly about their data.
